How far along? 21 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: +6.2
Symptoms? Longer, stronger nails!! Still having a bit of sciatic nerve pain in my right leg but getting better.
Sleep: Sleeping much better…..and the dreams are back! So vivid and I still remember them a good 2 hours later.
Best moment this week: Having a full weekend to relax and do “normal” things. We went over to Brian and Jenni’s to celebrate Brian’s birthday on Friday. Saturday, we went down to Babies R Us to take a look at some of the travel systems (car seat, stroller, and base in one). Drew took me to my good ol’ favorite El Porton for lunch! YUM! The rest of the weekend was pretty low-key. Relaxed a bit, did some cleaning, grocery shopping….the usual.
Miss Anything? Having nothing to do with pregnancy……I miss my family.
Movement: Little girl is getting more active every day! Practicing her dance moves!
Food cravings: Had a weird craving for waffles the other day. And anything sweet and cold. My new favorite things are the frozen whole fruit bars! Sweet, a lot healthier than ice cream, and no hassle of peeling, washing, and pitting your favorite fruit!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing lately. I’m preparing myself for when the sickness returns in the third trimester. Ick.
Have you started to show yet: Yes indeed.
Gender prediction: Definitely a GIRL!
Labor Signs: Nope!
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On. Although with this weather starting to get warmer, I can see my fingers starting to swell up like little sausages. I’m sure with the crazy summer temperatures, it won’t be too long before I’ll have to take them off. Boo.
Mood: Feeling organized!
Weekly Wisdom: Make lists! It has been helping me SO much in the last few weeks with figuring out what I need to do when. Keep up with a calendar so you aren’t stuck doing everything at the last minute. I probably have 15 stickies all over my computer screen.
Looking forward to: Madam and Katie are coming to visit tomorrow through the weekend! A big weekend of shopping, eating (isn’t that EVERY weekend?!), and geocaching! Have you ever heard of geocaching? It’s totally nerdy but if you want to read up on it, check it out here!
