33 Weeks
How far along? 33 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: +18.2
Symptoms? Lightning crotch! Basically feels like baby kicks or punches you right in the cervix! Could be due to baby repositioning, or maybe some early Braxton Hicks contractions? The belly is feeling tighter and fuller than ever, making it very difficult and uncomfortable to do just about anything. But I really can’t complain much. This pregnancy has been smooth sailing so far!
Sleep: Flip flopping. Vivid dreams. And I get pretty hot, so our electric bill has been a lot higher this summer!
Best moment this week: Got a lot done this week! We had our 32 week checkup this past Friday. All positives! Was told to keep drinking water (because of the heat) and taking my iron and was even given permission to eat more red meat. I didn’t really think about it until now, but I really don’t eat that much red meat at all, ever since swapping out turkey with a lot of our tacos/hamburgers. I also got a few nursery items taken care of. We put up our curtains and a few picture frames, which I now have to take back down to paint white. Things are coming together!
Miss Anything? Not having to pee every 10 minutes. Sheesh!
Movement: I love feeling her move. Makes me feel like she is doing well. I always worry when I don’t feel her for awhile, but then she has her occasional kick which puts me back at ease.
Food cravings: Still eating lots of yogurt and granola. And any kind of tart drink. Simply lemonade with blueberry……and my new favorite are those little packs of the raspberry lemonade crystal light.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Only if I get overheated or have been on my feet for awhile (shopping!)
Gender prediction: Bows!
Labor Signs: Not yet. She needs to stay nice a comfy for at least another 6 weeks.
Belly Button in or out? In and very shallow.
Wedding rings on or off? On, but getting tighter as it gets hotter.
Mood: Well I have figured out my mood is great for the most part, but I get irritated VERY easily. It doesn’t take much for something or someone to set me off. Watch out! I’m a ticking time bomb.
Weekly Wisdom: I will always tell people, making lists has been helping me out tremendously, especially this trimester. I can’t remember a thing, and having everything written down, I can actually see what all needs to get done and it is extremely gratifying once I start seeing those things crossed off the list!
Looking forward to: Another weekend of to-do’s! Lots of stuff going on next week as far as meeting with insurance, 34 week appointment, and my best friend’s wedding!!
