So, getting closer to finding out whether we will be having a boy or girl (April 15th!), I have been thinking a lot about the nursery. Putting together some inspiration boards always helps me to visualize everything, so when it actually comes to shopping for all of this stuff, I’m not going in totally blind. Andrew’s mom came this past weekend and bought us a beautiful glider at Babies ‘R’ Us! It looks more like a club chair than a glider and is made of a light cream, almost corduroy fabric. We plan on keeping the 8 drawer dresser I already have and will either paint it or change the hardware depending on if little squirt is a boy or girl. So really, the only other big furniture purchase we have to make is our crib, along with other accessories, shelving, bedding, etc.

For the girl nursery, I don’t really have a theme…..mainly just a color combination of creams, corals, and golds. I originally got the inspiration from a twin baby shower I saw at On To Baby right here! Love love love!

For the boy nursery, I had two separate ideas and couldn’t decide which I liked better, so I decided to do two boards. These are more theme based….one being based on maps and travel and the other being vintage sports.

All of the items in these boards are just random items I have found online….nothing I have purchased yet. It just gives me a starting point and something fun to look forward to in just a few short weeks!!

Update! In the boys vintage sports nursery, I wanted to give a link to the artist who created the WONDERFUL sports art in my inspiration board. His name is Aaron Christensen and you can find his work here!
