25 Weeks
How far along? 25 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: +11.4
Symptoms? Round ligament pains, nails are still rock hard, better skin!, and always hungry!
Sleep:  Sleep is getting a little better. I’ve started sleeping with a pillow, in addition to the one under my head, which has been helping.
Best moment this week: In the past, I’ve never really had time to cook dinner after work. Always being on the go, I’ve always brought my dinners to work or ate something quick whenever I did have the opportunity to go home. So far this week, I’ve gotten to try a new recipe and have made dinner for Drew three nights in a row! Watch out Betty Crocker!
Miss Anything? Spicy Tuna Rolls. I really LOVE sushi. The Blade Show is coming up this next weekend and for the past couple of years, we have always had dinner on Friday night at the Orient Express in the Vinings. Some of the BEST sushi and chinese food I’ve ever had!
Movement: Moving a lot! Drew put headphones on my belly the other night and played little girl a few tunes.
Food cravings: Sushi (boo) and mexican food (shock!)
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not lately.
Gender prediction: Bows!
Labor Signs: Nope!
Belly Button in or out? Still in.
Wedding rings on or off? On! Hoping mother nature keeps the cooler temps just a bit longer.
Mood: Happy! Excited for the summer and getting closer to seeing little girl!
Weekly Wisdom: We are starting to do our baby registries and it really is one of the most overwhelming things I’ve ever done. So many brands, products, colors, sizes. And all for one little baby who you haven’t even met yet! I would say what has helped me the most is research. Don’t always go with the one that is the cutest. Some of the products I originally thought to be the most “popular” ended up with bad reviews and ratings. Talk to other moms and see what works and what doesn’t! At some point, it will really come down to what baby likes, which might be different from other babies. As a first time mom, this is pretty scary, especially since I’m a planner and like to always have things ready to go ahead of time. So for any of you moms out there that have any MUST-HAVES (or do not buy this what-so-ever) please feel free to share! I am all ears!
Looking forward to: Memorial Day Weekend! Going out to some of the North Georgia Wineries this Saturday for Elizabeth’s bachelorette extravaganza! Then doing a fun couple’s shower for Dan and Elizabeth the following day. Monday will be all relaxing and maybe some grilling! Happy weekend!
